2015 Honda Fit Replacement Mirror
Hello, my 2015 Honda Fit LX's passenger mirror needs to get replaced. Does anyone know if there are any compatible replacement parts for it out there?
I was quoted $970 to get it replaced, but id rather do the repair myself if i can find a unit thats compatible. One junkyard (not nearby) said they had a blue and a white mirror for $125, but my car is black. My friend said that he thinks that Honda Fit mirrors from 2010+ will fit (although i'm certain they wont look the same, which is fine). I saw one on for $45, although i couldn't verify it would fit my fit (Amazon's Car Compatibly tool never seems to find any parts for my fit).
So does anyone know any replacement mirrors?
Doesn't have to be Honda brand.
Thanks

I didn't see any mirrors on rockauto.com, although i could be blind.
Ya it's connected to the door. As far as i know, which is mostly youtube videos, to install a new mirror i just need to take apart the door frame and unscrew the old one and screw in the new one and connect the electrical cable.

What is actually broken? The GK mirror is different from the GE/GD and would likely not fit without some considerable modification.
See below for the diagram. You can easily replace the parts broken. With the LX you dont have the stupid expensive lanewatch camera so it may be feasible. The skull is about $105 (because its paint matched to your car) and the entire mirror itself (without skull) is $280 dollars.
This is best route to go. Its held in by 3 bolts, requires removing the inner door skin which is fairly simple. Its one electrical plug and thats pretty much it. Look up my videos for the disassembly and reassembly of the mirrors/doors. detailed views of the insides.
