Well, I'll admit to my share of complaining on this forum over some of the "fit and finish" issues I've encountered on my '15 Fit (bumper cover and dashboard gap, out of spec rear axle that couldn't be aligned-replaced under warranty, as well as the chintzy luggage compartment trim). Still, after nearly a year and 15,000 miles, I couldn't be happier with the car. It holds everything I might need to carry, gets great fuel economy, is a blast to drive, and it looks much better than the 2nd gen Fit (to me, anyway).

Glad your liking the Fit Uncle Gary. I actually have an Uncle Gary, I should let him drive my Fit. lolz. I absolutely love the design of the new Fit's. I don't even plan on new wheels because I like the stock ones! If I could change one thing aesthetics wise it would be the rear tail lights, and the chrome accent strips. I'm taking care of those later this week with some 1080 Scotchprint.

Fit vs Mazda 3

In 2016 I test drove both of these vehicles and I was impressed by the Mazda performance and handling and was close to purchasing one, but after the fit test drive I found that it offered more for my money and the Mazda's back seat was very cramped. The Fit's "magic seats" and roomier back seats help make up my mind. It is up to you to decide what you need, performance or a roomier and versatile back seat, also better fuel economy.

Why would you resurrect an old thread from more than 3 years ago to post a comment which I'm sure is no longer relevant to the original poster whom I'm sure made some kind of a final decision 3 years ago????
