Coming from 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid that I had to replace the CVT fluid at 30k miles which I did myself to save $135 dealership wanted to charge. I don't see this anywhere in the 2015 Fit owner's manual. All the manual talks about is have the dealer check the fluid level and replace if necessary.

Ok, just like any fluid in the engine it needs to be checked and replaced if necessary. I do all oil changes and fluid replacements myself so be nice to know when I should replace CVT fluid. Not sure if replacement is even necessary in this car other than checking and adding more fluid? Maybe at 100K miles? Any ideas?

 

2015 Fit Maintenance Minder code 3 is "Replace transmission fluid".

 

Yeah saw that but any idea when it supposed to come on? Any of you guys had the CVT fluid replaced yet?

 

I'm assuming it'll depend on your driving style. Some people have 6500 oci, but I've been getting to 8500 before the MM comes on.

 

Aside from engine oil, the other MM services come up at a mileage (closest to an oil change).

 

Honda typically recommend's 3yr interval on Brake fluid, and nothing listed on the MM.

 

Did mine at 53,000 miles when the 3 code showed.
