New LX, no floormats
Unless you have the EX or EX-L, you don't need to order the free navigation manual as well.
I think I paid $300 for the floor mats for my 2009 Fit. I was completely outraged at having to pay for freakin' floor mats. When I totaled the car, I made sure those mats came with me. I don't know if they'll fit in my next Fit, but I don't even care. I'll make 'em fit.
We'll keep this a secret between us, but I stole my floormats from a Honda dealer. Shhhh!!!!
I was really surprised and disappointed that Honda doesn't include them, and it was one of my first observations right after driving it off the lot. "Hey, where's the beef...er....floor mats?!" Every car I've had in the past decade or so had them standard
Finding out that they were $250 or so seemed absurd.
I wasn't planning on taking them, but I was spending some time at a local Honda dealer where they were complete jerks when I was shopping for the Fit and found a wrapped set in an unlocked EX on the lot. It was a spur of the moment decision
I'm not proud of it, but at least I have some morals, and would never have done that to the Honda dealer I eventually bought from; they were fantastic

The Fit LX comes with a Honda Fit guide which is a short version of the manual, whose PDF is on the CD in the glove compartment. In your first six months of ownership, you can order the full 453-page owner's manual for free, but it can take five weeks for delivery. You can also download the manual, guide, navigation manual and warranty information from Honda's website.
U guys all read the literature on the specific models so for you all to be shocked is to tell us we didn't read before purchase. Ignorance of what's included in a model is on you guys. Just like someone buys a 2nd gen base and thought it had rims, fog lights, just not the better cloth trim. They are shocked when car gets there with no cruise control. Well had they read 2009-2011 base don't get that. If only they had read/googled the trim they would have know. Hmmmm...
Both petty theft and shoplifting are misdemeanors in California law. The maximum penalties for most first-time petty theft convictions are a fine of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000), up to six (6) months in county jail, or both.
Every car I've bought in the same time period has had mats, but as a "mandatory option" that I had to take. "They're already in the car, we can't take them out..."
So, I end up paying $200 for four little pieces of cheap carpet.
I am actually pleased that I can now spend that money on quality mats!
I am less pleased about the lack of factory tint...
