2015 LX CVT Erratic light throttle response hesitation

I have a 2015 LX CVT that I took delivery of in late November of 2014 (early November 2014 build), and it now has about 16,500 miles on it. I have a issue that started about three months ago at about 13,000 miles.
It is erratic light throttle response hesitation, it started out just once in a while, now it is quite frequent.
It happens when I just need a bit of power coming off idle to: pull out of a driveway, pull out of a parking lot onto the road, when making a left hand turn across the oncoming traffic to enter a parking lot, and when making left and right turns from a stop.
I depress the throttle pedal a little, and it feels like nothing happens. Then I give it a bit more throttle, and it finally goes, but with more throttle than I wanted.
The engine does not stall, or even feel like it is stalling, it just does not respond to a light throttle movement coming off idle.
I did a search of the site, and all I found were issues relating to a dead band at light throttle on the manual 6 Speed transmission.
Has anyone else had or seen this with the CVT?

That does not sound like it is cvt related. If your are running in Eco mode try turning it off and see what happens. I have a 2013 civic that does the same thing.

ECO mode throttle response is horrible if you have any finesse in your ankle to drive with precise throttle actuation. If your not running ECO mode, then it may be the drive-by-wire pedal sensor that is messed up. To troubleshoot, try manipulating engine speed in park and see if it reacts as you would expect.

No, it is with the ECO off.
Yes, it has very poor throttle response with ECO on, that is why I seldom turn ECO on.
I drive my FIT mostly to and from work, about 1/4 stop and go getting out of town, then 3/4 highway at 60 to 65 mph.
I normally average about 40 mpg on my 36 mile round trip, daily commutes.

I do not think it has anything to do with the CVT, I believe it is something to do with the electronic throttle or the computer.
I'll have it looked into when the car goes back to the dealer for the grab bar and door handle backing plate recalls.
If it continues getting worse, I'll take it back before the parts for the recalls come in.

I was just reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced a similar problem.

Interesting... Have you had your coil pack recall and CVT software updates done yet?

Had the CVT software update last oil change, about month ago.
Dealer claims my VIN is not on the coil pack recall.

None at all! Actually, my wife takes off so quick that people often times mistake her for racing them. She enjoys the throttle response immensely. I do have a few 'aids' to help with throttle though. No hesitation to speak of though.

me2

mine is 14cvt , I am FM Hong Kong.. it may be made in japan

it happens when stop in traffic.. when slowing down slowly.. then it did move when press the throttle again... feels like " the computer didn't engage the clutch" or still engage the hill hold..

it improves a bit when I press the break deeper even it stop and hit the gas fast when restart... it happens more often when I squeeze the gas slowly when the start..

I had this happen to me recently. It was a dirty throttle body. I cleaned it using CRC 05078 Throttle Body and Air-Intake Cleaner. Took me about 30 minutes to get to it and clean it.
