Buying 2016 GK Fit vs used GE Fit vs something else entirely?

Hmmm, GTI is a decent car... But, bottom of the line 4 door GTI is 25k, one worth having in a performance orientation is 30K. For either one, I would characterize this as 'quite a bit more' than the GK.

actually, VW has been having trouble selling cars after their dieselgate problem. a bunch of dealers in PA are selling base model GTIs for 19k
