I've always put seat covers on new cars right away to preserve the original upholstery and padding. I prefer light-colored sheepskin (real or fake) for comfort and lack of heat absorption.

Does anyone have brand/model recommendation for seat covers that fit the Fit?

 

I'm interested too, although I love the EX's fabric, and endured years of plastic covers in my Dad's cars.

 

What about clazzio? It is way too expensive but if has good reviews. It might help.

Yep. Clazzio leather seat covers will be my last mod to my car. They are expensive but they are leather. They also have faux leather (vinyl) seat covers available that are cheaper. One forum member has them installed and the look good.

 

Clazzios are certainly good looking, but I don't really want leather and the cost is .

I prefer something soft and fuzzy like sheepskin to keep things comfy. I also want covers that are inexpensive enough that they can be replaced if something spills on them.

I was really lucky when we bought our Scion and found some "universal" covers that actually fit quite well. They've lasted a decade and, while definitely worn, still look pretty good. Unfortunately, they have no label I can find and the box and my memory of who made them is gone.
