Grill explosion!

So I have the worst luck ever. Anyone know the best priced place to order a 2015 Sports grille and how bad is it to DIY?

Quite sure the bird's luck was worse than your own.

The perfect opportunity to get the Sport Grille!
Sport Grille - 08F21-T5A-300 - College Hills Honda

There is a pdf instruction sheet on that web page.

Had mine installed at the Dealer when I ordered my options for my Fit.

Does it only come with this part? The bottom black mesh grille part looks like another item :/

Sport Grille.

It's actually a one piece unit. My factory Grille had to be removed entirely to install the Sport Grille. I thought it was only the Chrome piece that was the Sport Grille. But it's not. It's the entire Grille itself. After I got mine installed the Dealer gave me back the factory installed Grille in the back hatch.

How much did they charge you for labor?

Labor Charge For Installing Sport Grille By Dealer.

Not sure. I had a bunch of options installed. Everything was rolled into the final out the door price.

Should be an easy diy project. Just have the proper tools.

Wow! over $200 for a piece of plastic with a little fake chrome strip in the middle! I thought people were buying LXs to get the unadorned black center bar!

BTW, a bird in the grill is bad, but it could have been worse. Years ago, I took a bird in the front of my helmet while riding a motorcycle at 60MPH. Luckily, it was a smaller bird than yours!

I installed one on my own. It's about an hour and a half or so without rushing. You have to be willing to take the front of your car this far apart:

Just an FYI, but the Japanese 2016 version has the new grille design that the US market might get in 2017. It's a bit more 3Dish in that the H emblem and the bull horns extend further out from the mesh part of the grille.

I had a body shop color match it White Orchid Pearl. I ditched the rear chrome garnish, replaced it with an LX and I had that color matched as well.

No, they don't currently. The front and rear JDM bumper/grill assemblies are not interchangeable with the '15 USDM models. I see no reason to believe they'll interchange on the '16 either.
