This may be the worst radio ever, are you really not able to fast forward or rewind a track? I can only seem to jump to the previous or next track which is a huge issue for audio books.

Press and HOLD the track select buttons to fast forward or rewind.

You have to use the "double arrow" buttons on the touch screen, not the steering wheel controls

The owners manual really glosses over the stereo controls for both the LX and EX.

Update: I checked on the LX and it does work with the track forward track backward buttons.
Thanks Uncle Gary.

I guess to pause you just hit the on / off button.

^^^^ That's right. Modern radios are, In a sense, always "on", as the backup/lane change camera and other functions are always working. The "power" button only turns off the audio section, and as such, it's both a "mute" and a "pause" button, depending on whether you're using the radio or MP3/CD/Bluetooth.

I had tried that in the past and it didnt work, but it must have been when i was using my phone and before i had the USB drive.

Thanks. Why that wouldnt be on the steeringwheel instead of long press=next folder is beyond me.

Everything is disabled when you're using the phone.

This is the first car I've had with radio controls on the steering wheel. My guess is they've tried to only include the most commonly used functions to keep things less distracting-volume up/down, next/previous track/folder, and source.
