Can someone check this for me on their 2015 Fit?

Keep one door open.

With the engine off, use the Master Lock Door Switch on the door to lock and unlock the doors. Do they work? Then start the engine and do the same. Do the locks lock and unlock?

I am having issues with the MLDS not locking the doors when the engine is running (with a door open - I have a malfunctioning sensor). It opens but does not lock. And it locks/unlocks when the engine if off. Im wondering if it is designed this way.

 

I have a '16 EX-NAV and if the engine is running or if in accessory mode, the door lock on the driver's door will NOT lock the vehicle. If all is off, it works and locks all the doors. Tried this with the driver's door open.

 

a lot of cars wont lock the drivers door when the engine is running and the door is open. its to keep people from locking their keys in the car with the engine running. its a simple fix. shut the door then lock the door
