2017 Honda pilot get the apple carplay treatment
So I guess we wont be seeing this in our car since the 2017 fit still dont have the apple carplay but the more expensive pilot will get it?

Keep hoping. More importantly, how will Honda do software updates for CarPlay and Android Auto? Updates are inevitable. Can an owner download the update from the internet and install it themselves, or do you need a trip to the dealer?
No self-update facility means once a bug is detected it will take a long time before it is fixed, during which you are vulnerable to possible attack.
The Fit will eventually get CarPlay and Android Auto, if not 2018 then when the new model comes out.
