I have a 2015 EX 6sd and I get this very slight noise exactly at 25 mph every morning on my first drive. Sounds like some sort of vent opening or maybe the plastic shield moving. Since it always happens at 25 mph I wonder if the car is doing some kind of self check. Any ideas?

 

Could be an ABS system check. Haven't noticed on my car but have heard it on others, kind of a clack noise. Usually happens around 10mph and 25-30mph the first time you hit that speed.

 

Yes, it has been discussed before because a lot of folks have noticed it. Probably a calibration of some sort and happens every single day at the same speed on ours.

 

I have a 2015 Fit. I had noticed weird noises when I start engine and drive down the interstate. Well I figured out the issue. The clips/screws in the engine shield came loose until finally it began to really flap during my last drive. The shield being lose also cause the P0451 Evaporative something error code with the yellow check engine light. I went to have the code read and the dude told me the two went related. That's not true. I drove to my oil change shop and asked them to remove the shield (I ordered new acres for the shield on eBay for $10 total) the check engine light went off immediately as soon as the man removed the shield.

I'd check to a make sure this is secure if you are hearing weird noises.

 

Good info.... and I had that shield come loose on one side however, that is a different noise then the daily 25mph one reported by the original poster (OP).
