Fuse Box A

Fuse box A is underneath the dash. In page 425 of the owner's manual shows the rear wiper, fuse #23 is shown in (10A) in parenthesis. What does that mean? I went to check the fuse box, and the fuse is missing, yet, the rear wiper operates without the fuse in place. At first, I thought it was an option, therefore, the LX does not have the rear wiper, but it does, and it is shown on the MSRP as standard feature.

Is there a fuse in position #40, "Rear Wiper"?

Thank you, thank you. There is a fuse in position #40. I was going nuts. In fact I took a few photos for reference for later use...

The EX model must use position #23 as well. It is in parenthesis, which I assume is an indication of an optional function w/respect to the rear wiper operation.

A little late to this particular thread but I think it may have something to do with the rear wiper's "auto-wipe" feature that the 2nd gen to now Fits have. Whenever the PCM senses that the front wipers are on AND that the vehicle is in reverse, the rear wiper will cycle 2 times then stop.

I may look into this during the holiday weekend... I will need to find a LX and EX VIN in order to compare it wiper wiring schematics and figure out the difference.
