2015 Fit LX Front Brake Pads equivalent to which other Hondas?

I was looking on eBay for 2015 Fit LX Front Brake Pads. Wondering which other Honda vehicles use the same pads?

You will need to look on the various dealer websites to compare part numbers.

Bernardiparts, HondaPartsDeals etc

Even if another Honda car's pad has the same shape, it may have a different composition than the Fit's. The Fit is a light car! So, the part # would be different.

The part number is 45022-T5R-A01

Looks like its only listed for 15-16 Fits.

You would think that car manufacturers would put more effort into standardizing parts across similar cars to eliminate the variety of parts and reduce costs. They do talk about it every once in a while, but they seem to have a short attention span and lose interest too quickly.

Lots of variables go into braking.

Weight of vehicle, type of tire fitted (low-rolling resistance tires have longer stopping distances), power of vehicle (my sports car uses a Toyota caliper, but if I use a Toyota pad they burn up REALLY quick), desired life expectancy, cold stopping power (who here has tried to stop with track/autocross pads on the first cold winter day? )

Sometimes these needs only manifest themselves after the car has been out a while. Or, when you are too lazy to change pads after the last track day in the fall...

++++++++++

anyway, the dealer sites I mentioned allow a Part Number Search, so plugging andre's number into them will pull up different fitments, if they exist. Might also work in places like Rock Auto, too.

I disagree that a different part number means different parts. They may, but not always. The same part can carry a different part numbers. It is probably a cost game decided by the bean counters. The same part could be use in different Honda, but carry a different part number and there may be a price difference too.
