Do you think this would end up in a recall for airbags?

 

Would be nice if they gave a model year. I know GE is in the mix.

 

I hope not. That will take out my peace of mind know that I will be safe in my little Fit. I bought it just for that reason IIHS top pick. I am scare of accident based that the last one hurt me so bad that leave me with permanent back injuries. That would be a game changer, indeed.

The incidence of airbag problems on the recalled airbags is still minuscule.

 

The bad thing is that in México they do not do recalls(except Mazda). So there are any recalls about anything. So old Hondas with the defective airbag still have them. First months Fits with bad bumper that did not absorb the crash where not recall and people still driving it thinking they are safe in a collision.
Recalls cost a lot of money and if are not required by the government and they will save that money.
Except mazda that is the only company that do recalls in Mexico.
