Happened for the first time a while back. The car would die about 5 mins into my drive, it would hesitate to turn back on, but after a couple tries it fires up and I have an engine light, traction control, and steering light on but the car would still run. After taking it to one Honda dealer that blamed it on my cold air intake, I took it to another dealer. They told me there was a low fuel rail pressure light and replaced a fuel pump after a month of the part being on back order.

Sometime last week, couple days after getting the fit back, it happens again, and again this morning, but this time theres no engine light when it turned back on. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

hummm... torque converter/cvt related? does it shut off while slowing down or? no idea.

 

Should’ve mentioned it’s a manual. It also doesn’t stutter or anything before it shuts off. It just shuts off suddenly.

 

oh.. hummmm.. plugs? harness chewed by mice?

 

I’m assuming it’s related to the initial fuel rail pressure issue.
