This gave me an idea late last night, and sleep deprivation means it might have been a stupid one- but the HRV and the Fit are based on a common platform, right? There's a chance the rear axles are similar enough (at least on the 2wd HRV) to make the caliper brackets, calipers, and discs fit. Aside from the bolt pattern, but I seem to recall seeing other cars with brake swaps just drilling new holes in the discs and keeping the original hub/stub axles.
If anyone sees a reason that this couldn't work, I'd love to hear it before I spend a bunch of time looking for parts.
If you want to run a five bolt wheel, I don't know if there's a way to convert it without changing the hub. The US market Fit has a strange looking flange on the hub, like a x shape instead of the circle on pretty much every car I've ever seen. This is probably because of the drums. I haven't cracked the drums open yet, so this is just a guess, but there might not be enough space around the drum components to clear the flange.
I would never discourage anyone from any modification they feel they really want to do, as long as it's safe.
But I guess my opinion is, given the large quantity of available rims, vs. the amount of work required to adapt this particular set, it clearly wouldn't be worth it to me.
The easiest way to really get an idea if you'd really like the look would be to try to photo shop the image onto a picture of a Honda Fit.
I would have to think it absolutely made my Fit look great, to commit to the work and cost involved.

This makes a lot of sense. Would be much more sensible to find similar rims that fit right, that would look just as good but be a lot less work
