Fitting a Weber grill into the Fit

Hi. Anybody have experience trying to get a Weber gas grill into a Fit?

(3 burner spirit model, I think, is the one I'm being offered)

Any suggestions for how to fit it in would be appreciated.

I assume you mean a new-in-the-box Spirit 3-burner, not an already assembled one.

I found an Amazon post where the box dimensions for a Spirit E-310 (three-burner) were 33 x 28 x 26" and weighed 130 lb. The dimensions sound like they would fit, but this might be a two-person job with that much weight.

No, fully-assembled. A friend got a new one, offered me the old one.

I have a 2-burner Spirit. No way could I fit that into my '16 LX assembled, it won't fit through the hatch. You'll have to disassemble to get it in. It's not that difficult, I put my Spirit together myself.

I bought
this grill from Lowe’s and it fit in my ‘15. Don’t know the specs but it went in at an angle and layed down flat. Would fit easy with the wings off.
