Check charge system

A few weeks ago I drove to work, they went to go for lunch and my car wouldn't start. I thought I night have left the dome light on,but I'm not sure. After a jumpstart it was working fine for about a week. Then the same thing happened. I didn't leave any lights on. We went to oriellys and they checked the battery .the first test said bad battery, then 5 minutes later it was good. They tested the alternator and it was fine. So I had a mobile jumpstart thing in the car just in case . Week or so went by, everything worked fine. Then 2 nights ago I went to leave from work, and nothing. I had run errands that day and short trips with no problem re starting. Then end of the day didn't start. I had to get a jump start and then I drove to O'Reilly's again and it all checked out fine. Battery alternator, starter. Worked for 2 days and then this morning it came up with the "check charge system"
i don't know what to do. Husband says we should try change the relay? I've read so many threads all with different suggestions

if you did multiple short trips with no longer trips in between, and have repeated that routine for a while, your battery will die prematurely.

a very easy way to check whether your alternater is working properly or not is to have your hubby use a multi-meter on your cigarette lighter and monitor it during your drive. it should read 13V or higher (up to 14.7v). or just get those cheapo volt meters from amazon that plugs into the cigarette lighter with voltage meter and USB. if it reads 12v range or below constantly ur charging system is not working properly.
