Won't start after car wash?

Hi, I took my car to a drive thru car wash before the weekend, it started well the same day, but after I let it sit for the weekend, this morning it won't start. When I popped the hood, I saw mouse droppings on the battery cover, not sure when that got left there or if that was relevant. The electrical system seems to be in order, all the lights came on when I turned the key, and headlight could be turned on, but no cranking at all (I heard one click, symptoms were different than bad battery situations I had in the past). I measured battery voltage and got 12.6V. What could be the problem? thanks

I got the following diagnostic codes (DTCs), please help! When trying to clear the codes, it says cannot communicate with control unit. I tried jump starting the car, it didn't work, so it doesn't appear to be a battery or alternator problem.

Honda ABS Confirmed DTCs (Permanent)
61-1 MODULATOR-CONTROL UNIT INITIAL IG LOW VOLTAGE
POSSIBLE FAILURE
Battery Voltage Down
Alternator
FSR +B fuse

61-21 MODULATOR-CONTROL UNIT POWER SOURCE LOW VOLTAGE
POSSIBLE FAILURE
Battery Voltage Down
Alternator
FSR +B fuse

EPS Confirmed DTCs (Permanent)
11-02 Low/High IG1-terminal voltage (Regular diagnosis)
POSSIBLE FAILURE
Open in IG1 signal harness
Open in +B harness
Battery degradation
ECU Failure

No, it did not start with a jump. It was strange I could pull DTCs but could not do further diagnosis (says can't communicate with control unit) or clear DTCs. The DTCs do appear to indicate a power/voltage issue somewhere?

get a flashlight and start looking for chewed up wires. probably around the ecu. check the power wire coming from the battery to the car.

Unfortunately, all fuses seem to be ok, and no signs of chewed wires... any other ideas? or I might have to tow it to a mechanic... thanks

The starter was dead. 8 years, very few start/stops per day...

I think he said that the starter was dead but not sure how a dead starter creates all of those codes. Maybe he'll offer more clarity in a reply.
