Don't forget when it is time to pay the remainder, pay as much as you can with your credit card. I recall there was like a 2k or 2.5k limit with credit card for a new car with Honda dealer and that was what I did and financed the rest with their 0.9% interest.

If you have the $ and are not happy with the dealer, you can pay it off before 90 days and the dealer won't get any kickback with the financing and they might lose $ on the deal.

I put 3k down on a credit card when I bought mine just to get the rewards points lol

I just upgraded my sounds system utilizing those reward points so double win.

[QUOTE=SilverEX15;1419872]Apparently, after they add dealer prep, $114 for wheel locks, and whatever else.../QUOTE]

So I'm guessing this is EX-L with Nav then? Cuz EX 6 speed is $18160 MSRP.....

Afraid not. When you add those wheel locks, dealer prep, delivery charges, and sales tax, the total gets way up there. I saved the floor mats, floor cover for trunk area, Shark antenna to replace the stick antenna, door handle shields, rear neoprene seat covers, and rear cargo area cover. These things and others will save several $620. It's amazing how that stuff adds up.

I wanted to put more on the card, but $500 was as high as they would accept.
