Anyone else have their climate temp knob stop working?

 

Might help folks who might know if you could define "not working" a bit more. Does it not turn???....or does it turn but not adjust the temperature?

 

if you turn the knob theres a crunching sound and the temperature isn't changing from cold to hot. I removed my glove box and looked under the dash. You can see the blue cable. When I rotate the knob to the max heat setting the cable for some reason wont extend long enough now. So I temporarily removed the cable from the actuator and moved the actuator as far forward as possible (heat)

I did the same thing what I've noticed is that my cable doesn't extend far enough to set the temp to hot. I'll post a video on YouTube later and place the link here.
