Honda Fit (2016) remote is acting up. The lock button and the alarm button don't work. The unlock button locks the car. When you press the unlock button, the red light on the remote lights up twice: the first time a short blink and the second time, it stays lit up for 8 seconds.

I initially thought it was a dying battery so I replaced it but with a fresh battery, the problem persists.

Has anyone ever had this problem or know anything about it? Thank you.
