Squeaking sound front seat area
Squeaking sound front seat area
To preface, I have taken it to the dealer multiple times, but they 'can't replicate the sound" despite me pointing it out on a drive. I also leased a 2017 prior to this car, which did the same thing. Both vehicles had it start roughly a month after I got them.
I have a 2019 Fit Sport that has a squeaking sound that's almost like someone is jumping up and down on the seats, a squeaky spring kinda sound? BUT, it's not the seat squeaking, I think it's somewhere around the center console? I oiled the seat springs and all the fittings, but it didn't make any difference. It's really loud in warmer weather, but by warmer, I mean greater than -5 Celsius.
Does anyone else have this issue and potentially a fix?

Dealer is not likely to help on this. They'd have to take apart the center console, and might not find anything, so limited buy-in from them.
Best guess: Dashboard squeak, maybe where it meets the center console?
You could take the center console/dashboard apart, but now you're in the dealer's situation, you might not find anything.
You could try further insulating or reinforcing the borders in an attempt to mitigate the sound.
This all assumes that the sound is coming from the interior, not from the suspension. If it's coming from the suspension, different story.
