Ideal Android Car Mount area?

So for us android user what Car mount are you using and where are you mounting it?
I never normally used car mounts with my BMW as it just put my phone in a slot under my radio it fit perfectly. But nothing like that on the Fit.

Any recommendations for a Oneplus One 5.5"?

I'm interested in this too...I have been using the cup holder on the left side of the wheel...not optimum. ;-)

This....

Though they've REALLY jacked up the price since I bought it, probably due to the popularity. When I bought it, it was only $20. It uses the CD slot that virtually none of us use anymore for a very stable, accessible location. It doesn't block anything.

amazon has a number of highly rated device holders that clip to an air vent or slip into the cd slot(cd player continues to function). i'm looking at satechi, koomus and kenu. $16-$30 range.

I've got the Bracketron PHV-200-BL from Amazon in the left center vent. Its price has gone up too, but that still leaves it under $11 right now.

I have the Kenu, and am a big fan of it. Can't vouch for how well it would work on the 2015 Fit, as I don't have one.

the kenu has the minimal uncluttered look i like. it needs to work with an android and an iPhone, as well as snap in and out of the bracket quickly. right now i'm reading reviews, trying to make up my mind. satechi and koomus still contenders. there are so few '15 fits out there i may just have to roll the dice and order one.

I went from a 2010 with Navi to a 2015Lx without. Satechi makes a nice mount for your phone that slides into the CD Holder. Nice firm hold, ball pivot for angling. Nice positioning in front of the radio display. Good spring action for one handed removal of phone too. Found it on Amazon for under $14.

I have this mount too. Bought it from Meritline almost 2 years ago for just under $20, and it's worked fairly well. I like that it doesn't block the radio screen, but it doesn't tilt quite far enough for my liking, and it seems like I've been having to tighten the tilting mechanism on it more lately. Also worth noting is that I use an extended battery that makes my SGS3 about twice as fat as it would be without it, and the phone fits (barely) in the mount as long as I don't have a silicone case on it.

Do you have a picture of this in place in your car? It seems like it would block the air vents.

I'm not NotBlake, but I have the same mount in my car. The photo isn't right up on it (I was trying to take photos of the LED lights inside, but had the flash on accidentally ), but you can see that it doesn't block much. Maybe a little bit of the vent on the right, but most of the time I'm driving by myself, and I don't need that much air in my face even on 95-degree days.
