Sirius Xm radio

I bought a 2016 Fit about a year ago and I’m happy with it overall but I really wish have SiriusXM radio. I talked to people at the dealership and asked a few people at few Custom Audio companies and no one could find any thing that would work. My Fit is the EX model, not the EX-L. It does not come with Navigation system or SiriusXM ready radio, and ALSO it does not have a AUX port. Does anyone have any Tips or know of any After market radios with SiriusXM ready radios that would work???

You might want to retain the factory head unit for a number of reasons - keeping the lanewatch and backup cameras is one of them.

I recommend the Commander Touch XM add-on unit. If you don't have an AUX input, you can modulate it over the FM tuner. You get to keep the factory head unit, and if you ever sell the vehicle, just take the Touch with you.

Is there a SiriusXM app for your phone that you can download? Then steam through Bluetooth from phone? I stream Pandora, Amazon music and Google play. I don't even remember the last time I listened to the radio...

I’ve never looked, but I can’t believe there isn’t a satellite radio receiver that plugs into the USB port.

My local car stereo installer showed me an aftermarket solution that lives behind the dash and connects to the USB port. It will appear in your source menu on the radio and give you a fully functioning XM set up. The hardware is around $250 or so. I believe I also saw this on Ebay. They want about $490 installed and I'm not willing, but feel free to check ebay for the hardware.

Using Bluetooth Sirius XM Cradle with 2017 Fit EX with no AUX

I just purchased a used 2017 FIt Ex 6spd Manual with only 3,000 miles ... just to church and back I guess. Anyway it has already been modified to be flat towed with I think is a blue ox tow bar. Wife wanted Sirius XM installed but having no AUX port I was kinda stuck until I found the Bluetooth Sirius XM Satellite base or cradle for $46 including a USB power connector. Antenna was an additional $20. The Original Standard OnixPlus receiver I had in my XA was compatible so all is well. The radio allowed me to connect to both my phone and to the Cradle allowing me to set the Sirius Cradle as audio input and the Phone as the phone. No problems and it all seems to work flawlessly. No AUX input no problem. Because the car was set up apparently to receive a Blueox breaking system I already have a power source close by the console ... I just have to install the antenna and connect the power and I think that my wife will be satisfied again! .
