Wireless Android Auto --Kenwood Excelon DMX905s

I want to install this unit because it has wireless Android Auto.

I cant find any place to get it done. They say they never work on Fits, because no one ever brings them in.

I have seen that I may not get all the functionality out of the steering controls or the side and rearview cameras, but I am largely ok with this if I can have wireless android.

Any ideas?

Find another installer if they dont know that how to retain the steering wheel and side camera then they might not be the right person to have it installed in the fit. You will need to buy the steering wheel control from axxess model aswc-1 and the lane and backup camera is axxess hdcc-01. You can also search the forum maybe a few post down people are talking about it.

I have the DNX995S. Was able to retain lanewatch and back up camera. Was not able to retain steering wheel controls as the ASWC unit is probably defective. Am getting another sent to me.

jackson did you see my reply in your other post? That you have to hardwire the unit on it’s on and not use the prewire. Also you need to manually program the buttons.

Yeah. I've been in touch with Crutchfield and Axxess. I've probably got a flaky unit.
