Yeah, life has been interesting separating the Air Force, moving home, finding a job, buying a house, and starting my master's. Sadly Foxy has been a bit neglected.

Yes wheel is wrapped. Did it myself. The product is from aliexpress. I don't think I have the link any more.

Catch can hasn't been installed. Laziness on that front.

Thanks! I'd do the trans fluid change. Worth the effort. Shifts feel much better.

Tinted my tail lights. I was going to buy the aforementioned, but $350 is too steep. It's very hard to make the tint uniform looking off the car, but too much hassle to tape and cover the car to do it while still on it. Yes my plates say MURICA.

Before

Taped and sanded.

2 coats of Nite Shade and 3 coats of clear.

Back on Foxy. Not bad for $15.

As noted by evilchargerfan...I pulled the trigger on the small projectors. They come nicely packaged and are $50.99 shipped. To be clear: this product is perfect for the GK platform (initial thoughts here). Took no more than 5 minutes and should be on the short list of things to do immediately upon buying a Fit. 10/10 would do again.

Link for the product. Link for the product.

Packaged nicely

As another user noted, if not super close, they are touching the small reflector ring. What will happen to that long term is on the list of things to watch.

So much better than just another bulb.

I think it looks great for $51 shipped.

I'm not up to snuff on headlight technology. My previous car had factory HIDs which I dealt with changing ballast and ignitor at one point. My understanding is that going with the LED conversion or HID retrofit in standard housings is somewhat dangerous for the other people on the road (meaning they're very bright). Where on the spectrum is the product you install at? I'm honestly clueless even after I read the amazon description. It's a bulb replacement, but it's LED? But it has projectors? Sorry, I know this sounds stupid, but if you can explain I would appreciate it.

Yeah, I'm not too well read on the subject either, but they look cool and I'm not a fan of the yellow coloring of most normal bulbs. I don't think they'll present too much problem for other drivers as I don't drive much, if at all, at night. They are projectors, they are just small enough not to have to do any retrofitting. Yes, they are LED.

for those of you wondering how the cut off looks like, here is a comparison of the bulb dannyj has and another setup with a proper retrofit. keep in mind, the retrofit is a much more expensive option, and installation is more involved

mini projectors:

retrofits:

I'd also point out it's a helluva lot riskier doing a retrofit. You can jack up the housing and be out several hundred dollars in the blink of an eye. If you have it done "professionally" it can cost just as much as buying prebuilts.

indeed. retrofits are NOT for everyone. the mini projector is a good happy medium/best of both worlds

a lot of forum people dont like hid pnp's due to the fact that they blind oncoming traffic .... one thing this crowd always over look is most people dont want to pay for retrofits/cannot afford retrofits/dont want the stress of going the retrofit path. this is why pnp hid kits are so damn popular, its cheap and easy to install. lets hope the mini projector becomes the next big thing!

did you have any issues with install/fitment?

I had a strange scenario where I couldnt full get the adhesive to fully make contact with the car. IE, after install, some parts of adhesive were left exposed ... maybe I did something wrong ....
