Pads AND rotors or just pads?

Going to do front brakes on my 2016 Fit. It has 81,XXX miles. Is it likely to need rotors? How do you tell if you can get by with just pads? I've always done pads and rotors but it has come to my attention that sometimes you can get by without replacing (or turning) the rotors.
Thanks in advance.
Any good Youtube videos on this?

I would do pads and rotors at that mileage.

Thanks. I bought both but the guy at AZ said I could return the rotors. I'll do both.

Any torque specs on the calipers or elsewhere?

I think service literature should have specs for minimum rotor thickness, for maximum difference between inner and out circumference, and for maximum differences from point to point along the circumferences, by checkin in several places as indicated by service literature.. Sometimes some of these kinds of specs are marked on the rotors themselves. A few shallow circular grooves are acceptable but if there are any deep grooves that should make it necessary to machine the rotors to remove them or at least machine the rotors until the grooves become shallow. You may also be able to correct out-of-spec measurements by machining the rotors. There is a spec for minimum thickness allowable after machining the rotors. These days machine shops will charge about the same amount for machining as you would pay to buy decent quality after-market rotors, so it may pay just to buy new rotors even if the old ones could be alright after being machined. At least, this is how we did things years ago. Today people don't seem to bother machining rotors or drums for one reason or another. I'd check the official service literature to see what that says. There may or may not be enough material on the rotors to allow for machining. Again I'd check the official literature.
