New rear disc option?

I don't check the forum as often as I used to, the last rear disc conversion I saw was from Taiwan and didn't say if the discs were custom made or from another model of car. I just saw this on Fastbrakes, a complete kit with Honda calipers and discs.

https://www.fastbrakes.com/product_p...-disc-swap.htm

Cheaper by several hundred than the gotuning kit that uses JDM parts, am I the last one to see this? Looks very tempting if I keep the car long term.

I’d have to see install process to see if it’s worth the hassle. Good to know that there are cheaper options than 1000+ kits. Thanks for link!

Well, I'm surprised at the lack of interest in this, but someone has to be the first to try it. Parts ordered, apparently they use a rear disc from a 2003 Sentra, RSX/Civic Si calipers and pads. Going to try Hawk HP+ pads when it all goes together.

Kit installed, not going to copy the whole post over, but I summed up my thoughts here- overall, pretty good.

Nice work on the conversion. I know more folks are "heavily" modifying the 1st/2nd gen Fits versus the GK. Also, these forums aren't remotely close to how active they used to be. There's a lot of good info on here, but Facebook is, without a doubt, easier/faster for the majority of people. There's also a new forum for Fit owners, www.fit4track.net, where a modification like this would probably be better suited for sharing, in my opinion.

Maybe I should have put all the photos here in the first place, but this is the parking brake adapter.
