brake dust

It looks to be like the stock pads create an excessive amount of brake dust or is it just me? Most of my driving is highway and not in traffic... wonder if I should switch to ceramics any suggestions

You can install dust shields behind the front wheels. They reduce brake cooling a bit, but unless you play Ricky Racer in the mountains you won't notice it.

I've not noticed an excess (actually, any) brake dust (in 20K miles of driving so far), but I also have aftermarket wheels with black centers, which would help to hide whatever is actually there.
