How would these wheel covers look on LX

Hello, I just had a quick question. I have been doing my research before I get my new Fit. I see that the LX has the "pop off" wheel covers, not held on by lug nuts. I was going to replace the wheels with new black wheels, but I thought why not try all black wheel covers first. How do you think these would look on an all black Fit LX with black tinted windows?? I know it is a "cheaper" way to go, but I hate paying for new wheels when the car is so low priced and the steel wheels are actually good and stay balanced very well. Let me know what you think? Oh, I guess for those of you that don't know, the lug nuts you see on the covers are not real, they are just for looks, the real lug nuts are of course hidden under the cover, just thought some people might be confused.

They'd look like $8 aftermarket plastic wheel covers!

Which isn't much improvement from the OEM covers.

I think that it would look better with a simple chrome center cap, but you'd have to fab some "dimples" on the rim to retain the cap.

Or, full Salt Flat Discs:

You can just go to Pep boys they sell wheel cover kits for like 20 to 30 dollars for a set o 4, I installed a kit on my brothers 04 Camry and you could never believe the difference they made, some people actually thought they were real.

Sometimes they will let you go out and see how they look before you buy them, better to see in person hard to tell from pictures.

And yes I agree will the stock wheel covers on the lx makes the car look cheap, but that happens with a lot of base car purchases .

That would be one of my first mods if I did any at all.

Actually, I love the functional aspect of the 'Salt Flat' disks. That should help with coefficient of drag a good deal. Maybe not so much with brake cooling but it's not like you'd be driving it a the Willow Springs Raceway anyways.

The hubcaps do not look bad at all and they are cheap. Go for it!

I have salt flat disks on my xB, painted to match the car. They look pretty nice and are sooo easy to clean. No vents for brake cooling, but haven't noticed any problems even on mountain roads.

I have found they tend to get rusty by Spring though they do clean up easily. I am going to paint mine this time with Rust-O-Leum.
