Thinking of changing wheels/tires on Fit 2015

aftermarket wheels ? - understanding TPMS
Hi. I just got a new Fit 2015. I got the one with the ugly steel wheels and caps just because I wanted to do a wheel change anyway. It's my first car with the tire pressure monitor system. I know what it does but I'm not sure what will happen when I change the wheels. I don't mind if the system no longer works after the change (I've been driving for more than 20 years without it). I just want to know what to expect and what other owners have done about it. Will it void any kind of warranty ?
Thank you.
Thank you.

lucky for those that want to swap wheels, the Fit uses the ABS sensors for the TPMS. So you can swap your wheels and tires as much as you want. Basically when you put the different wheels on make sure all tires are properly inflated then with the car on push and hold the TPMS reset button that is below the steering wheel on the left and then drive for a few miles. This may not work the first time and you may get the warning light after driving a bit, but if you do just repeat the process. From what I've seen when you do a reset you need to do it with the car running and then without turning it off drive 3-5 miles for it to take.
