Just got my new 2015 FIT
Hello
I want to put 17" Motegi Racing FF7 GunMetal clear coat with polished lip rims. 4 lug with +42mm offset(I don't even know what +42mm offset means)
Tires I want are Nexen N7000
Should I put a spacer on or are the rims gonna be flush with the car????
I am really new to this car & putting rims on something.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you use spacers, Use H&R spacers. If you can get them specific to your car, H&R's match the hub and hub center so there is NO slop or wobble. You will need to install longer ARP lugs to do it right, H&R sells them as a kit for some cars.
Cheap spacers will severely screw up eventually..
Make sure you have a selection of tires you like in 17" ,, I have found in the past some sizes are un-obtanium in 17"

For anyone who comes across this thread in the future who wants to see an answer to the OPs' question!
A 17x7" +42 wheel is the max spec for the average person who wants a healthier looking wheel and to lower the car a bit.
If the OPP does a 5, 10, 15 or 20mm spacer with this spec wheel it is gonna make it look like a mudder truck!
