CRC Intake Valve Cleaner, where to spray
CRC Intake Valve Cleaner, where to spray
Exactly as it says. Which hose near the throttle body? Also how to rev the engine from the engine bay to get the cleaner in there? Figure start doing it when I do an oil change. I have a catch can and that has been working great. Highly recommended!
I have done this before, allow me to help.
Remove the PCV hose, the one literally on top of the intake manifold.
Make sure to block off the rest of the hose opening with something when sticking your straw through.
I used a small piece of 3/8" hose and two clamps to pinch it off and seal the vacuum.
Good luck.

Okay perfect. Next oil change will do this with the wife as she holds the rpm at 2k while spraying. I haven't done the spray and im at 36k, but catch can installed since 16k. Want to keep up with the maintenance of the intake valves before I eventually need to walnut blast them.
