Hood sensor

Hi guys, few question on my fit ‘14 jap.
  1. Found out that if i lock my car with keyfob and open from inside, alarm will not trigger. Does it mean the car only have immobilizer and not alarm? How to check?
  2. i can still lock my car even if my hood is open. Normal? If faulty that might explain some from question 1.
  3. everytime when i start or stop engine with the pushstart button, there will be loud buzzing sound (electrical sounds) from inside the steering. Normal?
thanks

Not sure what trim level you have, but on my USDM EX, you cannot lock the car with a functional smart remote. It knows it's inside and won't lock the car. Now if you have a dead battery in the smart remote, it will let you lock the remote inside the car. I know this from personal experience

Yes the car will still lock with the hood open, it just won't beep.

Not sure about the buzzing, but check this thread for the location of the connector for the hood sensor. This may help you with what's going on: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...king-beep.html

Thanks. That buzzing sound really does irritates me. Just do not want to be paranoid if it happens to other owners.
