Starter trouble/weird noise

Hi all! This is my first post here, though I've been a lurker on this forum for awhile. I have a 2007 Fit basic with around 175k miles that has been making a weird sound at startup recently, as you can see in this video below. Doesn't always happen, but when it does I have to take the key out and try again, which usually does the trick. I've seen a few threads about weird sounds coming right after/at the same time as the engine turns over, but my issue seems a little different, since the car doesn't actually start when it occurs. Recently had the battery replaced, and had the spark plugs and ignition coil done about a year ago. I do live in Chicago, so it's been cold, but this does happen sometimes even after a drive when the engine is still hot.

So it clicks once, then second time it starts normally? Check battery connections

Thanks for the reply. Connections are all tight, my mechanic put a shim on the positive terminal because it was a little loose. It's not so much a clicking but that whirring sound on that first start, pretty quiet in the video, headphones may help.

That’s a lot of miles if it’s still the original starter. May be time to replace?

Yes it is the original, so I think you might be right, I'll have to get that checked out. Thanks for getting back!

I'm interested to know if the noise goes away after a starter replacement.
Thanks
