Idle goes UP and DOWN at D or Drive mode.

Whenever I put my gear in “D, S or L” (Automatic Transmission), my idle will bounce up and down. But whenever I put it on reverse, neutral, or park, I dont experience the up and down idle. This also occurs whenever im idling or at a stop/stoplight and my gear is in D. It gets worst when my AC is on. Any suggestions or any knowledge about this problem? I would highly appreciate any bits of information. Thank you in advance!

I had these symptoms and I did a valve adjustment as well as changing out spark plugs and coils. I didn't have any error codes, but one of those (or all 3??) fixed the issue.

I had this same issue in my last car (95 civic). I ended up having to replace the air idle control valve (it was beyond attempting to clean.) The first thing I would do is to check for vacuum leaks though
