2015 Fit with Output Shaft Seal Leak?

So today I came out to the driveway and noticed staining on my driveway by the driver side. I look under the car and notice its all wet with what I believe to be CVT fluid all over the axle shaft. It seems to have happened overnight or something. Anyone else have an output shaft leak on them on a GK? I have 110k miles on mine with the CVT.

Nothing like this has happened on my GD or GE.

Just picked up the output shaft seal from Honda, I'll update when I get someone to help out with this job. Pretty bummed that the GK gets the leak....Honda of Mexico gotta up their game.

Oh yeah. It's straight up dripping just parked. If I drive it it'll probably drip way worse.

I’m having the same issue after having a shop replace my clutch at 191k miles. 3rd gen Fit, I’m hoping the shop will replace the seal under warranty.
Went under for a standard oil change and noticed the leaking, traced it to where the CV shaft connects to the gearbox. This is less than a month after getting clutch replaced. It makes you wish they replaced CV seals as standard process when replacing a clutch, BUT APPARENTLY NOT.

This is just after I did an entire parking brake cable replacement and rear brake shoes/rotors, which was annoying as all can be.

But that engine is running damn fine, so I can’t complain too much.

Any updates to your story?

Yep, had the dealer do the output shaft/CV seal job. Hasn't leaked since. The dealer did it at a reasonable cost. It seems it's a delicate seal and easy to make it leak.

Sweet well mine wasn’t dripping a whole lot, lucky the shop said they’d fix it under the clutch warranty 😅. Glad I caught it too, it was a small
smudge on the engine splash shield when I first spotted it. Must of been a more mild leak compared to yours, as no fluids made it to the ground beneath.

Good times here at the fit club 🤣. I’m planning on getting at least 300,000 miles out of this thing.
