GD Jazz battery light / no charging
Haven't driven the car this week and when I started today to get the AC tested and recharged before the weekend, the battery light stayed on. So of course I didn't go anywhere

- Battery terminals were a bit loose but tightening didn't change anything
- When running, voltage at the battery is around 12.2 or so.
- When running, the voltage at alternator positive terminal is same as battery, i.e. 12.2 or so.
- Edit: Also managed to confirm the black/yellow wire is 12v

Bumping this for resolution.
Only other potential issue I found was the ELD but it seemed fine. No time to try to diagnose obscure ECU issues so I picked up the new alternator first thing in the morning and installed it before work, which resolved the charging issue. Drove about 600km over the weekend and there were no issues with the charging or belt squealing etc.
Which is kind of expected, but I hate to throw parts at cars without properly tracking down the root cause first.

Just made a post with the detailed process in the project thread. It's not a bad DIY job.
