2020 Fit directly drop in swap problems

First post here and there's a reason why I'm here. Long story short, we have a 2020 Fit and motor has a rod knock due to low oil leaking from oil filter. Well, I found a L15B3 motor on ebay and bought it. Weeks later dropped it in and motor starts and revs but won't past 2k rpm. It seems to be on limp mode. Check engine light scanned p0087 fuek rail pressure too low. So when I delete the check engine light it revs fine and when light goes on back to limp mode. Last night vsa, abs and some other lights is on. Going under the hood and car tonight to see if we missed any plugs and ground. Need help pls. Thanks.

Welcome. I suspect fuel line issues with p0087. So the typical: fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure sensor, fuel lines, gas tank. Any or all could be contributing.

p0087 won't clear until the system senses enough rail pressure to continue safely.

Did your engine come with any guarantee? I'd look at sending it back if there's a fuel system issue you can't easily fix.

Okay so I'll attach a picture of the high pressure pump. There's q difference in fittings so we used the original line since the line that came eith thr engine is smaller. Mind you these original is a 2020 L15b1 I believe and thr replacement is a b3, or is it vice versa. Car ran fine minus the rod knock thr wasn't covered eith warranty I can't easily return the engine because I'm in Hawaii and everything is costly to ship. On the picture left is what cane with the motor and right is the original. Where is the pressure sensor located?
