Just wondering if such is a practical option. We got the '09 Fit Auto Sport - no nav, and am quite happy overall.

I realize there are stereo controls on the steering wheel on the '09 Fit Sport Auto with Nav.

So my wife is wondering whether there's a "off the shelf" option for installing Stereo controls on the steering wheel on our model (no Nav).

At least one of the posters used a PAC adapter, combined with this AUDIO NAVI&HFTSWITCH ASSY
from the bottom of this page japanparts.com : PARTS DATABASE .... and got it to work.



Now the part is showing for a GD Fit, but it looks just like the GE8 one. This might be an option for you, but the wiring should be a nightmare, and you'd probably have to get a new head unit and a PAC adapter as mentioned in the Audio controls on steering wheel? thread.
