I just found out that the Acura RL has built-in pull-up sun shades on the rear doors/windows. You pull the screen up (which is built into the door) and it hooks onto a little plastic tab at the top of the rear windows. What an awesome design.

I've heard the Fit can get pretty hot in sunny weather cause of all the glass. having these built-in shades would be a great way to keep the interior cool when parking the car in the sun. One can easily roll down windows with the shades up too-like to cool car off upon first getting in.

probably only see this kind of thing on luxury models though

 

Yeah ive seen those things. I remember seeing it in some van. Pretty cool design. But if honda isnt even willing to provide us with floor mats or a cargo shelf style cover then I doubt theyll ever give us those unfortunately.

I got 15% on mine, plus its white so even in the 90 degree weather here it stays cool. I still wouldnt mind getting those shades for even more protection.

 

visors and crack the window down far enough where the visor ends. no one will see your window is open
