How can I get rid of wrinkles in the seats?

My first thought was to just go ahead and iron it, but I'm not so sure. I fear the heat might melt the foam. Do you guys think it should be alright??

wrinkles in seats usually come from the cushion compressing in one area... any pics?

I imagine iron would be ok on low heat+steam and move it quick.... But if you are just gonna sit on it again.... who cares? Its like cleaning the bottoms of your shoes before you walk outside in them.

Pictures would help.

I wouldn't iron them... as thin as the Fit seat material is I wouldn't trust that for nothing. Some blends of those types of seat material (let's face it, CHEAP) are prone to melting very easily. You'd have to iron it at an extremely low temperature... low enough that I don't know if it would get the folds/creases out.

Like you said, if it doesn't melt the seat fabric itself, it WILL melt the foam if the iron is hot enough.

Usually, when auto seats start wrinkling/creasing/folding it's due to the foam under the seats depressing, the fabric is still the length it was when it was cut, so the seat fabric gets wrinkled, eventually folded, then creased.

If that's the case, then you can gently insert more padding under the wrinkled area, and it will take care of itself.

Only suggestions.
