Question Sport Splash Guard - any third party or future news

Anyone hear more about getting Splash Guards for the North American Fit Sport? I did the FitFreak search and got Googley without any luck. Now I'm tired, silly and starting this thread.

Don't the extended sills and rear roll extender serve the same basic purpose? Have you seen the standard model's installed ? They're not that big at all...

That's right. The sport model doesn't get the splash/mud guards as the 'body kit' gets in the way

Hoping someone comes out with something, even after market. Should not be difficult to incorporate the body kit into the splash guards- probably just not a priority.

I'm wanting to avoid the snow that will pile up behind the wheel all along the side and back. It will melt all over the garage. Certainly not a critical issue.

At this height and with the length of the car behind the rear wheel, you don't need them for the guy behind you.

They will NOT be produced by honda, due to the HFP lip kit.

Many people with Sport Fits have Splash guard/mud flaps that they paid for.

They are just invisible.

Mud Flaps= Corrosion

After a year or two, sand, dirt, fallout and water etc. are trapped between the fenders and the mud flaps causing rust were holes were drilled to attach the mud flaps. Methinks you should use paint protection film instead which doen't reduce gas mileage either.

i remember seeing some things like taht, and it may be dumb on the buyers part, but it's fudged up that a dealer would even charge for something like that, when knowing dang well that they don't have them, but hey anything to make a buck right.

Maybe Honda was just helping us Sports out by preventing splash guards Maybe I'll superglue them on if something becomes available along with some gasket sealer or calk.

I'd still like to keep the extra snow from melting in the garage.
