Supercharger in 2008 Honda Fit Sport

I need some educating. Searching around just isn't helping as no one really has confident sounding answers.

I have redone my whole exhaust system, headers, cat., and cat back. I also have a new intake. Now, I'm looking to put a supercharger in. I have an automatic fit. I'm just wondering, what engine work will need to be done in order to bolt one of these in?

Or will the stock engine handle it?

It's my everyday car and I'm just looking to have a fun zippy car on the freeway.

supercharger or turbo u can just bolt it right on. with the auto and a supercharger (5psi) you are looking at 115-120whp with the mods you have

I see. I don't have to change any cams or valves or nothin? My only concern is pushing my engine too much until I melt it or something.

I understand tuning is necessary as well.

nope. If you get the kraftwerks supercharger its about as bolt on boost as you can get. There is no tuning with the SC and its all very safe for a stock motor ask Tex, his is still running strong with simple bolt-ons.

If your wondering how do i Know it will be ok, I use to be auto with the KWSC, ran it for three years and the engine was fine the entire time

I got one more question. I ordered this downpipe ,Megan Racing Downpipe HONDA FIT 2007 - 2008 MR-SSDP-HF07 , and if I choose to install this supercharger, will a dyno tuning help this part to not damage my engine? I read in a little pdf file about the base kraftwerks supercharger and it stated, "OPERATING THE KRAFTWERKS SUPERCHARGER WITH A TEST PIPE
MAY CAUSE SEVERE ENGINE DAMAGE."

I understand that may just be something they put in there just as a disclaimer, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Lol.

Why are you buying crap while 'saving' for a KW kit? All you're going to 'gain' from this pos downpipe is more noise.

Loud, Auto cars with <100 whp....c'mon man.

It's already on my car FYI. I'm already saving for the kit. When I started learning on how to start getting the car going, I read about taking off restrictions and all the beginners shit. So i went ahead and redid the whole exhaust system. Then I read further about putting turbos and superchargers and all that in there.

We all have to start some where, my car was a auto

As for the test pipe and KW kit all you will need to do is upgrade the injectors to the 195cc ones. There really is no tuning with the KWSC it comes with a supercard that basically take cares of every thing.
