new fit owner ..few audio questions

base 13 model here...I see that there is no wire in the tweeter holes. How difficult is it to run wire to them from the headunit. also Im looking to go aftermarket. are there any dash kits to avoid that dont work or look right. came from a miata that had components and 8in woofer in the door so im looking to get some of that back lol

Wire the tweeters from the speakers in the door themselves. Recommend replacing the OEM speakers with an aftermarket component set; these will be matched components and have their own crossovers.

If you buy your equipment from a vendor like Crutchfield, they'll provide everything you need. While the door panels are off, suggest treating with sound deadening at same time,

OEM speakers on this car are very cheaply constructed.

I'd definitely go double DIN. I have a 2007, so can't comment on the light location. Does it matter if location changes?

only matters if moving the airbag indicator is possible and not a pain in the ass

Piece if cake, particularly relative to the rest of what lies ahead. Not difficult, but allow time and patience.

This is not the wrong location; it is the stock location for the double din Fit Sport with navigation. If you were to buy the navi dash it would also be in this location. It should reach without issue.
