Front door speaker advice
Hi,
I have a 2007 Fit Sport and I want to replace the front door speakers for use with the stock stereo. The passenger side speaker is blown and unless I cut all the bass it rattles and sounds bad.
I've seen on crutchfield.ca that they have some nice polk audio speakers for a good price. However, these come with tweeters in them. I know the Honda fit sport already has tweeters and I will not be replacing those as they work fine. I wonder if having tweeters in the lower door speakers as well as the high mounted ones will be too much and cause the sound to be too bright.
Personally, I like a nice midrange on a speaker. I'm not looking for any booming bass, the stock speakers had plenty enough bass for me.
Any suggestions? Should I keep looking for a speaker with no tweeter in it?
Thanks
