After talking to Chris at Best Suspension, again. I think this is the best option for performance rear shocks. The koni yellow sport setup they sell. Then wait for the koni str.t fronts to come out. Seeing how I want to stick with a spring setup.

Anyone running this setup, already?
I'd love to hear what yah think!

 

Koni yellows will be good iwth any springs.

 

Have 2012 ge8 with stock struts and swift springs, very comfortable on any road. Not extreme handling,but much better than stock,even with o.e. tires. It's the wife's car dd,so looks are the main priority for her.

 

This is a noobie question but what is the point of the koni yellows over stock shocks? Is it just meant for a shorter spring? I have Eibach Pro-Kit springs I am considering just sticking them in.

I never AutoX or track but would like a slightly lower ride for "spirited street driving" and aesthetics of course. Seems like it would just be better/easier to just save up for coilovers

 

Koni yellows have a fair soft compression side compared to the stock shocks (especially at low piston speeds). On the rebound side, they are softer than stock at full soft (again especially at the low velocity range) but then can be adjusted up on the rebound side without affecting compression at all.

So, you get a shock that can be made very soft and super-comfortable all the way to a seriously performance oriented shock that can handle coilover spring rates.....all without making it ride harshly because the compression side is always fairly soft.

is it just me or, is there only koni yellow avail for rears but not the fronts?

 

I want to buy koni yellows but how much more expensive are koni sports
