Installing Polk DB651 Speakers

I'm taking the car apart to put in Dynamat, and while it's opened up, I want to replace the stock speakers with Polk DB651. I know someone else did this, so I'm open to advice. What did you do about the wiring and the mounting in the doors? The size is right, and the speakers come with multi-fit plastic ring adapters.

Thanks. Good video. I got everything removed, but I'm waiting to see if Crutchfield has the plastic mounting ring and wiring adaptor. I bought these speakers five years ago for another car. It would make installation easier and cleaner.

The mount rings(speaker adapters) and adaptors(speaker harnesses), you can use these parts:

1. Scosche SHHA02B (speaker harnesses)
2. Scosche SAHC634 (speaker adapters)

Amazon does carry them.

Good luck.
